Switch to ‘pedal power’

By Bronwynne Jooste With yet another petrol price hike looming, a savvy local commuter has taken to a cheap, fuss-free form of transport that also keeps him fit.

David Coulthard and Sebastien Bourdais travelled to Pamplona for a special street demonstration. Ahead of the festivities of the Bull running both drivers took their own 'Bulls' to chase a number of crazy Spaniards through the narrow streets of Pamplona.
Felipe Massa has taken the lead in the Formula 1 world championship standings. But according to the Brazilian Ferrari driver it means very little at the moment. Massa realizes there is still a long way to go for winning the 2008 F1 championship.
Jenson Button is looking forward to his home Grand Prix weekend. Unfortunately for the Briton he is not in a position to race for victory at his home track but he hopes to give the fans something special this weekend at Silverstone.
Sebastien Bourdais has said he hasn't got a clue what he will be doing in 2009. The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver has scored two points so far but has been over classed by his team mate Sebastian Vettel. "If I get fired then so be it," Bourdais said.

Whether accurate or not, it is often said that much can be inferred about a driver by the car they drive.

It won't come as a surprise to hear that Lewis Hamilton can't wait for the British Grand Prix to get under way next week. The McLaren driver admits that his home Grand Prix is always something special and he has only one aim: winning in front of his home crowd.
